Job summary

Profitap is seeking a Purchasing & Operations Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, coordinating purchasing, supplier management, and process improvements across departments at the High Tech Campus Eindhoven.

You will work with suppliers, production, logistics, R&D, and management to ensure timely, high-quality materials and services, while supporting product certification and project coordination for continued growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, operations, or similar role.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Proactive, hands-on, and solution-oriented mindset.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Experience working with technical products, hardware, electronics, or manufacturing environments.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with different teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing for components, materials, services, and requirements.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, terms, and supplier agreements.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Identify alternatives to reduce supply risks.
• Monitor supplier quality, delivery, cost, and reliability.
• Collaborate across purchasing, production, logistics, and admin.
• Support production planning and alignment of purchasing and manufacturing.
• Coordinate product certification with bodies and internal teams.
• Support R&D by coordinating suppliers and timelines.
• Maintain procurement records and project follow-up.
