Job summary

ABN AMRO Clearing seeks a Senior Network Security Engineer to design, implement, and operate our global network and security infrastructure. You will shape the network roadmap and maintain a secure, compliant environment in a multi-region setting.

You will work with internal teams, the CISO organization, and external providers, mentoring others and driving strategic improvements while ensuring resilience and security.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in enterprise networking and network security.
• Strong experience with Cisco routing, switching, BGP and OSPF.
• Experience with firewalls, VPNs and IDS/IPS technologies.
• Design and support of secure, highly available data center networks.
• Understanding of security-by-design and secure architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure, highly available network infrastructure.
• Lead network and security-related projects and improvements.
• Drive network security, resilience, and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, the CISO organization and providers.
• Contribute to audits, risk management, governance, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor colleagues and help define the network roadmap.
