Job summary

Citi in Amsterdam is seeking an experienced Subsidiary Account Manager to manage in-country relationships for multinational clients, driving wallet growth and delivering Citi's global solutions locally.

You will originate opportunities, coordinate with product specialists, and ensure seamless service from local subsidiaries while aligning with the client's global strategy. Fluent English is required; Dutch language skills are a plus; 5+ years in corporate banking preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in managing corporate banking relationships.
• Strong understanding of local market dynamics and regulatory environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
• Fluent in English; Dutch language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and nurture trusted advisor relationships with key contacts at the client's local subsidiary through valuable insights and high-quality engagement.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the local entity's business model, strategy, and financial wallet to identify and pursue opportunities.
• Maintain a strong calling intensity to ensure proactive client coverage within the country.
• Focus on origination and execution of top revenue wallet opportunities.
• Guide junior team members and collaborate with coverage, product, and senior stakeholders to optimize outcomes.
• Work with internal partners to deliver Citi’s best to its customers.
