Job summary

HSBC Global Services Limited in Amsterdam is seeking a Senior Relationship Manager within Global Network Banking. You will manage and grow a portfolio of international corporate clients, connecting them to HSBC’s global capabilities and product expertise.

You’ll deepen relationships across geographies, originate cross-border opportunities, and work with product partners to deliver integrated solutions while maintaining high service and risk standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Extensive experience managing commercial relationships with international needs, ideally in corporate banking.
• Proven track record in business development, including portfolio growth and targeted acquisition.
• Strong ability to identify customer needs and match them to a broad range of products and services.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present persuasively.
• Robust analytical, documentation, structuring and organizational skills.
• Strong risk and control mindset, including governance and security concepts.
• Autonomous, resilient and able to manage multiple stakeholder interests.
• Fluency in English; Dutch language skills are helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Client relationship management: be the primary contact for a portfolio of corporate network banking clients.
• Business development: grow revenues from existing portfolio and acquire new quality customers.
• Strategic advisory: engage with regional executives to provide tailored solutions.
• Product coordination: work with Global Payment Solutions, Global Trade Solutions, Markets and Client Services.
• Service excellence: ensure high standards of service and fair product delivery.
• Portfolio, credit and risk management: monitor risk and structure facilities.
• Onboarding: oversee end-to-end onboarding and maintain data accuracy.
• Market insights: stay informed on economic and regulatory factors affecting international business.
