Job summary

IKEA in Delft seeks a Meet & Travel Leader (60% FTE) to set the global direction for meet and travel, collaborating with local business units, suppliers and key functions to shape a simple, responsible, and effective program.

You will use data and partnerships to balance cost, sustainability, duty of care and user experience, while guiding policy development and vendor governance across Inter IKEA.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership in a global travel/meet & travel program.
• Knowledge of business travel, meetings and supplier ecosystems.
• Experience in supplier governance and reviews.
• Understanding of policy development, compliance and duty of care.
• Ability to use data and performance measures to guide decisions.
• Ability to navigate strategic, tactical and operational levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of the global Inter IKEA meet and travel program.
• Define and monitor KPIs related to cost, policy compliance, sustainability and user experience.
• Maintain and develop the Inter IKEA Group policy on meet and travel.
• Support local units with frameworks, tools and guidance balancing global direction with local needs.
• Lead supplier governance with performance reviews and value/risk improvements.
• Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Legal, Sustainability and Communications for aligned operations.
• Promote sustainable travel choices without compromising duty of care.
• Drive process/tool improvements to simplify user journeys and program performance.
