Job summary

Neste is seeking a Senior Manager, Mechanical for its Chief Engineering Competence Center. The role is located at Maasvlakte, Rotterdam, in a full-time, permanent capacity.

You will lead the mechanical discipline across projects and maintenance, owning specifications and ensuring safety, reliability and cost efficiency. Collaboration with procurement, asset management and site teams is essential to deliver best-in-class mechanical solutions.

Qualifications

• 15+ years industrial experience in mechanical engineering or management.
• Experience with design, maintenance and/or operations in refinery environments.
• Fluent spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Act as the leading expert within the mechanical discipline at Neste, defining project and maintenance scope with total cost of ownership in mind.
• Own the technical specifications for mechanical discipline and set safety, availability, maintainability and operations requirements.
• Collaborate with asset management, operations and design engineers to ensure correct content in frame agreements and vendor selections.
• Support refineries as the leading mechanical solutions specialist in cooperation with site personnel and design teams.
• Develop and own discipline technology best practices and benchmark against industry standards.
