Job summary

nVent is seeking a hands-on Logistics / Operations Analyst to support and improve our operations chain. You will focus on the day-to-day flow of products and help make processes safer, more efficient, and cost‑effective across production, logistics and inventory management.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Logistics and around 2+ years of logistics experience, with strong analytical skills and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or university degree, preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics or similar.
• Around 2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain or operations.
• Good understanding of standard logistics processes and systems.
• Experience with ADG preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with a practical mindset.
• Ability to work independently within defined processes.
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
• Customer‑focused way of thinking.
• Fluent English.
• Dutch, German or Polish will be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support and improve processes in the operations chain (safety, quality, production and material handling).
• Analyze logistics flows and develop practical plans to support production and distribution.
• Perform data analysis to determine opportunities for improvement in logistics network.
• Review and update procedures related to inventory and distribution.
• Help select cost‑effective transportation options for international shipments.
• Identify issues in daily operations and propose solutions.
• Work closely with colleagues in operations and customer care to keep processes running smoothly.
• Take customer requirements into account in daily decision‑making.
• Partner with finance team to understand freight cost.
