Job summary

SBM Offshore N.V. in the Netherlands is seeking a Global Rotating Equipment Lead to ensure reliability, availability, and efficiency of rotating equipment across our operations.

You will oversee operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of rotating machinery such as turbines, compressors, and pumps, and define maintenance strategies. You will collaborate with engineering, operations, and safety teams to meet performance targets, regulatory standards, and continuous improvement initiatives,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
• Certification in vibration analysis or related discipline preferred.
• Minimum 6 years in maintenance and management of rotating equipment in Oil & Gas.

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement of rotating equipment design and operation practices.
• Governance processes, tools and strategies to drive performance.
• Conduct failure analysis and troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
• Define maintenance programs and schedules for all rotating equipment.
• Collaborate with engineers and departments to optimize performance and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Support equipment upgrades, replacements, and new installations.
• Provide technical support to operations and maintenance teams.
