Job summary

Destinusgroup is seeking a Senior Insurance Manager to lead the global insurance program, drive strategy, governance, renewals and claims, and manage risk-aligned program design across the group. You will coordinate with legal, procurement and site leads to ensure robust coverage, regulatory compliance and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management or a related field.
• 5+ years in corporate insurance, risk management, or broker/carrier roles.
• Strong knowledge of property, liability, D&O, cyber, and aviation coverage.
• Experience negotiating with brokers and carriers for favorable terms.
• Familiarity with international insurance and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to translate operational risk into coverage requirements and budget impact.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own and optimise Destinus's global insurance portfolio across lines.
• Lead the annual renewal cycle and broker negotiations.
• Maintain broker and carrier relationships and drive tendering.
• Manage end-to-end claims process with brokers and insurers.
• Assess site risks and ensure coverage before exposure.
• Review policy limits, deductibles and flag gaps to ERM.
• Manage insurance budget and forecast premium spend.
• Review and advise on insurance clauses in contracts.
• Ensure regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.
• Contribute risk data to Enterprise Risk Management.
• Provide guidance to management on coverage and processes.
