Job summary

Destinus seeks a Senior Insurance Manager to lead the Group Insurance framework, driving strategy, governance, renewals, claims, broker management and risk‑aligned program design across the organization.

You will oversee global insurance programs in an aerospace/defence context, negotiate with brokers, manage risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and report to senior leadership. This role offers a unique chance to shape risk at a fast‑growing company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in corporate insurance or risk management, ideally in industrial/aerospace/defence sectors.
• Knowledge of international insurance regulations and lines: property, liability, D&O, cyber, aviation.

Responsibilities

• Own and optimise Destinus's global insurance portfolio across lines including property, liability, D&O, cyber, and aviation.
• Lead renewals and placement cycles; coordinate with brokers and underwriters.
• Manage broker and carrier relationships; drive tendering and service quality.
• Oversee end-to-end claims management with internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Legal, Procurement and Program teams to identify risks and ensure coverage.
