Applied Medical in Amersfoort (NL) is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Architect to shape and govern the global infrastructure landscape. You will provide cross-domain architectural leadership across cloud and on-premise platforms, ensuring scalable, secure, and resilient IT foundations that support our medical device business.

In this senior IC role, you will lead architecture governance forums, partner with engineering and security teams, and influence strategic direction.

Qualifications

10+ years in IT with infrastructure architecture or leadership roles.
5+ years defining architecture strategies and roadmaps.
Experience across on-prem and cloud, data center, networking, security, automation and observability.

Responsibilities

Establish and lead infrastructure architecture review boards to drive alignment and governance across technology domains.
Develop and maintain a cohesive infrastructure architecture strategy spanning cloud and on-premise.
Partner with domain architects to design integrated, scalable IT landscapes.
Define standards and reference designs promoting modernization and operational excellence.
Provide strategic guidance for major initiatives and infrastructure transformation programs.
Identify opportunities for standardization and enterprise-wide adoption of best practices.
