Job summary

BDR Thermea Group is seeking a Category Buyer Indirect Spend to own a diverse portfolio of indirect spend categories. You will shape sourcing, supplier selection and management, partnering with stakeholders across the business while aligning local priorities with an international procurement network.

You will develop and execute category strategies, lead sourcing projects, negotiate terms, and drive value through supplier consolidation, efficiency gains, and sustainability objectives.

Qualifications

• In-depth experience in Procurement, Category Management, Strategic Sourcing or Supplier Management.
• Ability to build strong relationships with a broad stakeholder network.
• Analytical mindset with commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies for indirect spend categories.
• Analyze supplier markets, identify opportunities, and translate needs into procurement solutions.
• Lead sourcing and tender projects from strategy through implementation.
• Build category plans aligned with business objectives.
• Negotiate contracts, commercial terms, and service agreements with suppliers.
• Manage supplier relationships and drive performance improvements.
• Collaborate with Finance, HR, IT, Facilities, Operations and other functions.
• Support international procurement initiatives and local execution.
• Contribute to sustainability, compliance and risk management.
