Job summary

Suntree Foods in Leiderdorp, part of the Cefetra Group, is seeking a proactive Supply Chain Officer to manage import container shipments from origin to our European warehouses.

You will coordinate suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams, ensure on-time customs clearance, oversee warehouse operations, and optimize processes with ERP and Excel. Fluency in Dutch and English is preferred, with German a plus; a competitive base salary and 28 vacation days are offered.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of import container shipments and international transport.
• Experience with ERP systems and Excel.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders.
• Strong Dutch and English; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound shipments, from booking through to final delivery.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, transport providers, and warehouses.
• Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve delays or issues.
• Ensure timely customs clearance and accurate documentation.
• Oversee warehouse activities and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Work with ERP systems to keep logistics data up to date and reliable.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and optimize costs.
• Collaborate with Trade, Finance, and Sales.
