Job summary

Just Eat is seeking a Head of Financial Control to lead a regional team responsible for high-quality financial reporting across entities. You will ensure IFRS compliance, partner with business units, and drive improvements in controls and processes.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, statutory and tax compliance, and collaboration with the Group Finance Operations team to deliver timely, accurate statements.

Qualifications

• Broad accounting experience in a complex, international, or listed environment.
• Accounting qualification (RA, CA, CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent) with 10+ years experience.
• Advanced technical accounting knowledge, IFRS-focused.
• Solutions-based approach to challenges.
• Exceptional communication skills for non-finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing regional Financial Control team.
• Monitor quality of transactional work per IFRS and local requirements.
• Collaborate with business partners to ensure complete and accurate financial statements.
• Oversee timely compliance with local statutory accounts, tax obligations, and internal controls.
• Partner with Finance Systems to maximise ERP efficiency.
• Lead streamlined processes and complex accounting projects (e.g., impairment analyses).
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
