Job summary

Elsevier seeks a visionary leader for End User Services within Technology Infrastructure & Operations to shape a global, AI-enabled digital workplace. You will balance operational excellence with innovation, directing distributed engineering and service delivery teams across regions.

You will steer multi-year roadmaps, manage budgets and vendor relationships, and advance AI-driven workplace solutions while maintaining security and compliance. Fluent English and up to 20% travel are expected.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead large-scale technology operations in a complex global org.
• Strong track record in strategy development with delivery of operational excellence across multiple tech domains.
• Experience implementing AI-enabled capabilities and governance in enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the End User Services strategy and multi-year roadmap aligned to Elsevier priorities.
• Translate strategic objectives into measurable operational outcomes and balance transformation with stability.
• Drive adoption of AI and automation to improve colleague experience and business performance.
• Establish governance and operating models for responsible AI adoption, balancing innovation with security and risk management.
• Lead global teams across Enterprise Eng., Network Eng., Service Assurance, and Service Delivery.
• Drive service quality, resilience and governance with metrics and continuous improvement.
• Lead initiatives across digital workplace tech, cloud services, device mgmt, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Manage budgets, resources, and vendor relationships to deliver sustainable outcomes.
