Job summary

VERSADO Personeelsdiensten is seeking a full-time all-round freight forwarder to coordinate national and international transports from start to finish in an dynamic Venlo region setting.

You will advise customers on logistics solutions, select partners, draft quotations, handle customs documents and invoices, and monitor costs and service levels. Strong Dutch, English and German communication is required.

Qualifications

• MBO+ or HBO level in logistics or supply chain is required.
• Experience with road freight and intermodal transport.
• Experience in freight forwarding, transport planning and transport management.
• Knowledge of transport processes, customs procedures and logistics systems.
• Strong organizational skills and resilience to stress.
• Good communication skills in Dutch, English and German.
• Analytical and solution-oriented ability.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software systems (Wisetech is a plus).

Responsibilities

• You are the point of contact for customers, carriers and internal colleagues.
• Organizing, monitoring and handling transports from start to finish, nationally and internationally, by road and intermodal.
• Responsible for related administration, including drawing up quotations, customs documents and invoices.
• Maintain and develop relationships with customers and carriers.
• Identify deviations or problems and devise the most efficient solution.
• Continuously monitor transport costs, margins and service levels delivered, and adjust as needed.
