Job summary

Kraft Heinz Netherlands invites applications for a Global Food Safety and Quality Intern. You will own projects and collaborate with the business on day-to-day challenges in a dynamic global environment.

We offer a hybrid role in Amsterdam with a February/March 2025 start, a 6–6.5 month duration, and an monthly allowance of 625 euro plus travel reimbursement. EU working rights are required.

Qualifications

• Enrolled at a European university for the full duration of the internship.
• You are near completion of a bachelor or pursuing a master in Food Processing/Food Quality or a related Engineering field.
• Good knowledge of English, written and spoken. EU working rights required.

Responsibilities

• Support project coordination, communication and documentation for Food Safety and Quality Risk Mitigation Projects.
• Assist with global Systems team coordination and collating information from regional teams to identify improvements.
• Analyze information and support the global management team to standardize practices.
• Review existing and new system documentation.

Job Description Global Food Safety and Quality Intern

The Position

Every internship at Kraft Heinz Netherlands offers unique opportunities to develop new knowledge and skills, gain real business experience, get exposure to senior leadership and attend tailored training. As an intern, you will take ownership of projects and work closely with the business on day-to-day challenges.

Tasks throughout the various roles can include

• Support project coordination, communication, and documentation activities within Food Safety and Quality Risk Mitigation Projects
• Food Safety and Quality Process Improvement for Global Systems Team Coordination and collation of information from our global teams on current practices, KPI's and supervise processes to identify improvements
• Analysing Information and supporting the global management team to find opportunities to standardize practices
• Review of existing documentation and new system standard documentation

Please note that this position does not include any lab work!

Qualifications

You are enrolled at a European university for the full duration of the internship. You are at the end of your bachelor, or in your master's degree Food Processing or Food/Quality educational background (or a similar field)/Engineering You have good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken. NOTE: EU working rights are required (Either you have EU Citizenship, or you are studying at a university in the Netherlands) Kraft Heinz does not provide a working permit for this internship.

• Computer proficiency: including Microsoft Office Suite of products including Microsoft Office Excel (advanced) and PowerPoint.
