Job summary

Eternal Sun Group BV is seeking a Financial Controller to lead month-end closings, annual audits, and ERP implementation across 10 entities. You will mentor the finance team and serve as the CFO’s right hand in strategic financial analyses and process design.

The role focuses on NL and DE with an international setup, offering impact, growth, and a competitive salary in a sustainability-driven tech scale-up.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in financial control, audit, or accounting in an international setting.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Experience with ERP systems and ideally involvement in an ERP implementation.
• Strong coaching and mentoring abilities.
• Fluent in English; German is a strong plus; Dutch not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end closings and consolidation across 10 entities (NL, DE, US, CN, IN).
• Oversee annual audit and external auditor communications.
• Serve as lead Key User for ERP implementation; design efficient workflows.
• Drive process optimization and scalable financial procedures.
• Monitor cash flow and improve working capital across entities.
• Guide and mentor a 3-person finance team.
• Act as sparring partner to CFO for budgeting and forecasting.
