Job summary

Flowserve Corporation is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, commission, troubleshoot, and repair pumps and seals at customer sites across industries.

You will perform direct service calls, read blueprints, train customers on operation and maintenance, and travel as required, including international assignments. A self-starting, safety-conscious approach and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma / GED and 5-7 years relevant experience.
• Professional certifications in this field (preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Make direct, in-person service calls in response to customer requests.
• Assess mechanical problems and resolve promptly.
• Lead work crews and collaborate with customer personnel.
• Oversee repair cycle: disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repair, and assembly.
• Ensure installation is successful and on schedule.
• Train customers in operating and maintaining Flowserve products.
• Read blueprints and schematics accurately.
• Travel, including internationally, for extended periods.
• Work overtime as required to minimize customer impact.
• Maintain organized records and daily reports.
