Job summary

The Field Service Engineer role at Delft Circuits B.V. involves installing, commissioning, and supporting cryogenic I/O systems at customer sites worldwide.

You will be a hands-on technical representative bridging engineering, manufacturing, and customer success to ensure successful integration into quantum computing setups. The position requires frequent international travel (30–50%), strong mechanical skills, and excellent communication in English.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical and electrical integration experience.
• Ability to read technical drawings and assembly documentation.
• Experience with RF/microwave measurements and VNA operation.
• Excellent English communication and travel willingness.
• Experience with cryogenic equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission cryogenic I/O systems at customer sites.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, and thermal integration.
• Verify functionality via testing and acceptance procedures.
• Document installation activities and provide commissioning reports.
• Support field service with upgrades and preventive maintenance.
• Collaborate with R&D, Production, and Sales as needed.
