Job summary

SAUR in Doetinchem is seeking a Category Manager to lead the global category management for industrial water projects. You will develop category strategies, manage supplier relationships, and drive cost optimization through strategic sourcing initiatives.

The right candidate will have a degree in supply chain or engineering, along with 5–8 years of relevant experience in procurement or category management. The position offers a salary between €80,000 and €95,000 gross annually, along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of procurement/category management experience in industrial, engineered solutions, or water sectors.
• Proven experience in supplier development, strategic sourcing, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong understanding of equipment and technical categories, such as pumps and valves.
• Proven experience delivering cost savings and negotiating supplier contracts.

• Source, select, develop, and monitor suppliers for performance.
