Stoneridge is seeking an Engineering Tools & Applications Manager to lead the global portfolio of engineering tools across software, electrical, mechanical, and systems engineering. You will supervise Tool Administrators and coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure reliable, standardized tooling and lifecycle management.

You will oversee software licensing, server/infrastructure partnerships with IT, and provide strong user support through Jira and dashboards, while

Competenze

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science or related field.
Experience managing engineering applications or multidisciplinary tool portfolios.
Broad understanding of Software, ECAD, MCAD, Systems Engineering, Simulation and Testing tools.
Experience with software licensing, license servers, Windows Server, cloud/virtual environments, databases, access management and enterprise integrations.
Experience with Jira ticketing, user support, software suppliers, contract renewals, license tracking and support agreements.
Strong global team and workload management skills, with the ability to balance engineering needs, capability, risk, continuity and cost.
Automotive or regulated product-development experience preferred, exposure to ASPICE, Functional Safety, Product Cybersecurity or configuration/change management; willingness to travel globally up to 10%.

Mansioni

Own the global engineering tools portfolio across Software, Electrical, Mechanical, Systems Engineering, Testing and Simulation, including standardization, upgrades and lifecycle planning.
Lead Engineering Tool Administrators and coordinate workload across internal teams and external contractors in India.
Manage software licenses, access and utilization while partnering with IT on servers, cloud environments, databases, security, backups and connectivity.
Oversee Jira requests and incidents, ensuring effective prioritization, escalation and resolution, supported by dashboards and service reporting.
Manage software vendors, support partners, renewals, contract and license expirations, and technical escalations.
Partner with Digital Engineering & PLM, Engineering Process & ASPICE, engineering disciplines and IT to support the Digital Thread strategy, while acting as the escalation point for complex tooling and service-continuity issues.
