Job summary

SBM Offshore is seeking a Global Electrical Lead to ensure the reliability, availability, and efficiency of the Electrical System and Equipment across our operations. You will oversee operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of PMS, HV/LV switchboards, IEDs, transformers, UPS and battery systems, VFDs, and related equipment, partnering with other departments to meet safety and regulatory standards.

• Experience leading electrical systems in complex industrial or offshore environments.
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety, maintenance strategies and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement in Electrical System and Equipment design and operation for existing fleet and new builds.
• Contribute to governance processes, tools, and strategies to drive performance.
• Support the definition and implementation of assurance processes.
• Contribute to the development of maintenance programs and schedules.
• Conduct failure analysis and troubleshooting to resolve system issues promptly.

Purpose

• As Global Electrical Lead, you are responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and efficiency of Electrical System and Equipment across the company’s operations.
• Your role involves the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the electrical system and equipment, including but not limited to PMS, HV/LV switchboards, IEDs, transformers, UPS and battery systems, VFDs, and other related equipment. You work closely with other departments to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• You play a key role in defining strategies for operations and maintenance, monitoring, and design improvement of the Electrical System and Equipment.

Responsibilities
