Job summary

SBM Offshore is a global leader in floating production solutions, and we are seeking a Global Electrical Lead to drive reliability and performance across our operations.

You will oversee the electrical system and equipment, including PMS, HV/LV switchboards, IEDs, transformers, UPS and battery systems, and VFDs, working with other departments to ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and efficient operation.

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement in the design and operation of Electrical System and Equipment for the existing fleet and new builds.
• Contribute to the definition of governance processes, tools, and strategies to drive performance.
• Support the definition and implementation of assurance processes.
• Contribute to the development of maintenance programs and schedules.
• Conduct failure analysis and troubleshooting to promptly resolve systems and equipment issues.

Purpose

• As Global Electrical Lead, you are responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and efficiency of Electrical System and Equipment across the company’s operations.
• Your role involves the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the electrical system and equipment, including but not limited to PMS, HV/LV switchboards, IEDs, transformers, UPS and battery systems, VFDs, and other related equipment. You work closely with other departments to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• You play a key role in defining strategies for operations and maintenance, monitoring, and design improvement of the Electrical System and Equipment.
