Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC in Amsterdam is seeking an experienced Data Center Engineer to manage the end-to-end asset lifecycle of data center hardware and maintain precise DCIM documentation that serves as the single source of truth for our global teams.

You will work with global colleagues, coordinate large-scale deployments, conduct site audits abroad, and ensure lifecycle standards are aligned across our worldwide footprint while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in data center engineering and operations.
• Proven ability to design and deliver data center infrastructure.
• Strong project management with multiple complex initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end rollout of new data centers and expansion projects.
• Oversee design and installation of critical infrastructure and thermal systems.
• Manage hardware lifecycle from PO to decommissioning.
• Coordinate supply chain, inventory, and on-site logistics.
• Maintain accurate DCIM data as the single source of truth.
• Bridge installation and production with cross-team handovers.
• Oversee repairs, replacements, and third-party maintenance.
• Manage vendor and stakeholder relationships across regions.
• Perform hands-on field operations and travel as needed.
• Align capacity with long-term platform requirements.
