Job summary

AssistiveWare in Amsterdam is seeking a Legal and Compliance Officer to manage contracts, privacy agreements, and compliance programs. You will coordinate with external legal partners and ensure regulatory readiness across the US, Australia, and other markets.

The role covers maintaining ISO 27001 and MDR systems, updating risk management files, privacy statements, and trademarks, with a focus on accuracy and timely delivery. English fluency is essential; Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level education, preferably with an international law background (or similar).
• Experience with ISO 27001, ISO 13485, or EU MDR in a software or medical device environment is strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with contracts and compliance-related work.

Responsibilities

• Handle privacy agreements and cybersecurity assessments.
• Maintain ISO 27001 and MDR information systems; ensure audit readiness.
• Maintain technical documentation for medical device software and risk management files.
• Handle media permission forms for productions/publications.
• Maintain product privacy statements and terms of service; protect IP and registrations.
