Vanderlande is seeking a Global Category Manager for Mechanical Equipment to translate business needs into global sourcing strategies and drive end-to-end strategic sourcing initiatives. You will lead supplier evaluations, negotiations, and CRM activities while aligning category plans across regions and projects.

The role requires a university degree with business background, 3+ years in procurement, fluency in English, and willingness to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into sourcing strategies and lead end-to-end strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Develop sourcing documents and evaluate supplier proposals.
• Lead commercial negotiations, conduct auctions, and manage supplier communications.
• Define category strategies and ensure implementation across regions and projects.
• Serve as Supplier Relationship Manager for designated strategic suppliers.
