Job summary

ING Hubs Romania is seeking a Global Category Manager Professional Services to drive category strategy for consulting, legal, and contingent labour across regions. You will lead complex negotiations with firms like McKinsey, EY, and Deloitte, shape cost-reduction plans, and partner with Board-level stakeholders to ensure value and compliance.

We expect 6+ years in procurement, strong English fluency, and proven leadership of cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

6+ years in procurement, ideally at strategic level in international finance.
Experience leading and coaching procurement colleagues and teams.
Mastery of English business language (spoken and written).
Strong project management and stakeholder-management abilities.
Solid knowledge of regulatory/compliance aspects in finance procurement.
Analytical mindset with ability to develop and present insights to leadership.

Responsibilities

Develop and drive global category strategies for Professional Services.
Lead negotiations with top consulting firms (McKinsey, BCG, EY, Deloitte, etc.).
Manage supplier performance, risk, and contract governance across regions.
Collaborate with Board and senior stakeholders to align on targets and savings.
Coach and guide procurement teams on sourcing and RFX processes.
