Caterpillar Inc. in the Netherlands is seeking a seasoned procurement professional to deliver global supply network solutions using QCLDM principles. You will drive category strategies, manage supplier relations, and lead cost-reduction initiatives across international suppliers and multiple Caterpillar facilities.

The role requires strong Dutch-language communication, extensive stakeholder engagement, and a track record in procurement excellence within manufacturing or industrial environments.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree level (HBO) working and thinking capability.
• Relevant experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or supplier management.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• Maintaining and developing the Caterpillar Work Tools supplier base.
• Managing a total purchasing spend of up to USD 50 million.
• Identifying opportunities for cost savings, inventory optimization, and quality improvements.
• Ensuring the quality and soundness of business proposals and recommendations.
• Managing supplier and business risks.
• Guiding, coaching, and developing locally appointed Supply Network Specialists.
