Job summary

Lever, Inc. is partnering to recruit a Global Director – Accounts Payable based in the Netherlands.

This leadership role oversees the global Procure-to-Pay function, driving policy standardization, internal control improvements, and scalable shared services across countries and entities. You will champion automation, optimize vendor management, and deliver reliable reporting while guiding integration of acquired businesses and ensuring compliant, efficient purchasing and payment processes across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Minimum eight years of experience in procurement, AP, or P2P operations.
• Experience leading global/shared services across multiple countries.
• Strong knowledge of P2P lifecycle, supplier onboarding, invoicing, and payments.
• Experience with ERP systems and procurement platforms.
• Proven ability to implement governance and automate processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead global Procure-to-Pay operations across countries and entities.
• Establish and enforce global procurement and AP policies and SLAs.
• Strengthen financial controls, risk management, and compliance.
• Drive centralization, standardization, and automation initiatives.
• Oversee systems, OCR, PO matching, and payment workflows.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure tax and contract alignment.
• Support acquisition integration and alignment of legacy processes.
