Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel is seeking a Global Air Logistics Implementation Manager to lead cross-border customer implementations across international air networks. You will bridge customers, Key Account Managers, and operations worldwide, ensuring smooth transitions, on time delivery, and minimal disruption.

You will combine air logistics expertise with strong project management to drive large-scale implementations for top clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• 5+ years of experience in air logistics forwarding with operations and customer-facing exposure.
• Proven experience leading customer implementation projects in an international environment.
• Strong understanding of air freight operations and end-to-end supply chain workflows.
• Experience with senior stakeholders, KAMs, and management or C-level decision-makers.
• Excellent project management capabilities; PMP/Prince2/ PMI/ Agile certification is an advantage.
• Strong communication and influencing skills with a proactive, structured approach.
• Business fluent English; German language skills are a plus.

As a Global Air Logistics Implementation Manager, you will lead the implementation of strategic customer solutions across international air logistics networks. Acting as the key link between customers, Key Account Managers, and operational teams worldwide, you will ensure new business transitions are delivered efficiently, on time, and with minimal disruption.

This role combines your air logistics operational expertise with your project management skills, giving you the opportunity to drive large-scale customer implementations for some of the world's leading businesses. How you create impact

What we would like you to bring

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• 5+ years of experience in air logistics forwarding, with a strong operational background and exposure to customer service, customer implementations, or business transitions.
• Proven experience leading customer implementation projects, logistics projects, or complex customer onboarding activities in an international environment.
• Strong understanding of air freight operational processes, customer requirements, and end-to-end supply chain workflows.
• Experience working with senior customer stakeholders, Key Account Managers, operational leaders, and management or C-level decision-makers.
• Excellent project management capabilities, including the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholders simultaneously; PMP, Prince2, PMI, Agile, or similar certification is an advantage.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills, combined with a structured, proactive, and solution-oriented approach.
• Business fluent English; additional language skills, particularly German, are a plus.
