Job summary

APM Terminals in the Netherlands seeks a visionary Team Lead for Global Aftermarket Category Management. You will lead a global team to develop aftermarket strategies spanning spare parts, services, and maintenance solutions, while strengthening supplier partnerships across 70+ terminals worldwide.

You’ll influence asset performance, drive lifecycle value, and push continuous improvement in a complex, asset-intensive network. Strong leadership and cross-regional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Leadership and strategic thinking for global category management.
• Proven ability to manage and improve supplier partnerships.
• Strong negotiation skills with long-term agreement experience.
• Experience working across multinational organizations and regions.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive global spare parts strategies to support terminal operations and asset performance.
• Develop service and maintenance contracting strategies that deliver value and reliability.
• Lead supplier performance management programs with accountability and continuous improvement.
• Optimize inventory, replenishment, and lifecycle cost reduction across the network.
• Drive standardization and harmonization across terminals for efficiency.
• Build and manage relationships with OEMs, service providers, and key suppliers with long-term frameworks.
