Job summary

The Social Hub is seeking an GL Accountant to join its multi-national finance team. You will own the month-end close for ManCo entities, manage intercompany accounting, VAT compliance, and collaborate with treasury, tax, and financial control to ensure accurate reporting.

You will support audits, improve processes, and contribute to centralized payroll and shared services while operating in a dynamic hospitality and mixed-use environment across Europe.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3+ years in accounting or financial control, ideally in ManCo or corporate accounting.
• Experience in a large multinational finance department.
• Solid knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, VAT and intercompany processes.
• Process-oriented with ability to improve on the go.
• Strong English communication; Dutch/Spanish is a plus.
• Excellent documentation, organization and deadline management.
• Strong Excel skills; NetSuite experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly closing for one or more ManCo entities with journal entries and payroll-related items.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and ensure supporting documentation.
• Perform intercompany reconciliations and recharges for shared services and fees.
• Prepare and review VAT returns and ensure tax compliance.
• Conduct monthly P&L reviews with GMs and controllers.
• Support audit deliverables and interact with external auditors.
• Drive process improvements in corporate controls and systems.
• Support cross-functional initiatives and automation projects.
