Job summary

Qualifications

• Prepare and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
• Produce accurate financial reports and insights for management.
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations to ensure financial integrity.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
• Identify financial risks and provide performance recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Act as the main contact for auditors and accounting advisors.
• Contribute to enhancing internal controls and finance processes.
• Collaborate with German entities and international finance teams.
• Support strategic projects and perform ad-hoc analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Economics or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in controlling, accounting, audit or a similar finance role
• Strong knowledge of German GAAP and German accounting knowledge is essential
• Fluency in German and English is required; Dutch is considered an advantage
• Experience working within an international organization
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with stakeholders across different countries
• Proactive, hands-on and detail-oriented mindset
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
