Your Responsibilities
End-to-end financial controlling responsibility for 1–3 entities within the North Cluster, ensuring stable and high-quality financial processes.
- Preparation, coordination, and support of internal and external financial audits in close collaboration with auditors and internal stakeholders
- Acting as central point of contact for communication with authorities and external partners, including statutory and tax reporting
- Support and monitoring of tax governance topics, including transfer pricing and tax declarations
- Advisory role for complex accounting matters requiring local expertise, including escalation management for operational issues
- Ownership of monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities in compliance with local GAAP and IFRS
- Ensuring completeness and accuracy of balance sheet reconciliations, including coordination with the Shared Service Center (SSC)
- Monitoring and ensuring high data quality standards in line with external regulations and internal (J‑SOX) requirements
- Close collaboration with Finance Business Partners and FP&A teams to align on reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Active contribution to harmonization initiatives, process standardization, and continuous improvement across EMEA
Your qualification
University degree in business administration, economics, accounting, auditing, or a comparable discipline.
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience in controlling, accounting, or financial reporting
- Hands‑on experience with SAP FICO or comparable ERP systems, as well as strong MS Excel and BI/data analysis tool skills
- Solid knowledge of local GAAP and IFRS, with the ability to apply accounting standards in practice
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and cultures
- Self‑driven, structured, and detail‑oriented working style with a high level of accountability
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in an international matrix organization
- Results‑oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Strong analytical skills and a high affinity for financial processes, systems, and data quality
- Fluent in English; role‑relevant knowledge of Dutch and the Dutch market mandatory
