Job summary

Accenture the Netherlands is seeking a skilled legal professional to support GEO Compliance and Corporate matters within the NLN region. You will act as a local legal advisor for compliance and corporate topics, coordinating with regional and global teams, and ensuring alignment with local laws and policies.

The role involves working with leadership and business teams, monitoring regulatory changes, and driving risk mitigation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Dutch law required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in law firm or in-house.
• Native Dutch speaker; fluent in English; Nordic language a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as local legal advisor across compliance and corporate domains.
• Act as local legal advisor for cross-legal-area reviews related to data processing platforms, applications, tools and systems.
• Understand and apply Accenture policies to ensure compliance and act as local legal generalist for the Netherlands.
• Provide legal/compliance advice to Accenture Corporate Functions, leadership and business teams in the NLN region.
• Follow and advise on local regulatory guidelines and changes in law.
• Identify potential legal/compliance vulnerabilities and develop corrective action plans.
• Collaborate with other legal functions regionally and globally to address issues.
• Supervise SharePoint and Teams sites, update training materials for the region.
• Identify and implement new initiatives in the GCC area with internal stakeholders.
