Job summary

AtS&T in Eindhoven seeks a Scientific Programmer to advance GenAI-enabled system and software engineering. You will build on research insights from collaborations with industry partners and lead GenAI-driven improvements across design, development and operations.

You will assess processes, propose methodological AI solutions, and deliver proofs of concept while guiding engineering teams on best practices and metrics for performance and value delivery in an industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Degree in CS, engineering, data science, or related field.
• Experience in GenAI areas: RAG, Agentic AI, GraphRAG.
• Strong understanding of system engineering and software lifecycle.
• Proficient in Python-based code architectures and AI applications.

Responsibilities

• Assess current engineering processes and identify GenAI integration opportunities.
• Develop methodological recommendations for GenAI solutions for design, development and operations.
• Work with research teams to deploy techniques in an industrial environment.
• Develop proofs of concept and prototype scenarios, showing value and constraints.
• Provide expert guidance on GenAI best practices to engineering teams.
• Monitor and evaluate GenAI implementations for continuous improvement.
