Job summary

Databricks is seeking an AI Engineer - FDE (Forward Deployed Engineer) to design and deploy GenAI applications for customers in the Netherlands region. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to productionize advanced AI solutions and drive customer value.

The role emphasizes hands-on model development, deployment, and the ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences, with occasional travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience building GenAI applications including RAG and multi-agent systems.
• Production-grade GenAI deployments on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Strong data science toolkit experience (pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch).
• Excellent communication and ability to teach technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop cutting‑edge GenAI solutions and productionize applications.
• Own production rollouts of GenAI apps and services.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers across domains.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to influence roadmaps.
