About the Vacancy
Are you passionate about technical fashion? Do you value quality and fit over quantity and have an eye for trends and design? As a Garment Technician at WE Fashion, you will ensure the sustainable quality of items in our women's collections, making them look good, fit well, and stay that way. You will be the specialist in fit, material, and construction, monitoring our quality requirements and translating technical ideas from Buying & Design into production. You will contribute to maintaining and developing basic patterns, provide technical advice on materials and seam finishing, monitor consistent fit based on patterns, grading, and size specifications, and prepare fit sessions with our fitting models. You will stay up‑to‑date with the latest developments in fits and constructions and work with a team of Garment Technicians, Buying, and Design to create stylish WE® collections with passion, creativity, and a focus on our customers.
What do we expect from you?
- You have completed a higher professional education program in fashion and have at least two years of technical work experience in a pattern and/or quality department with a focus on women's collections.
- You have a strong passion for the technical side of product development and extensive technical knowledge of patterns, fits, and materials.
- You have experience with CAD‑CAM systems, preferably Gerber.
- You have strong communication skills in your interactions with others.
