Job summary

Airbus Netherlands B.V. is seeking an On Site Galileo 2nd Generation Navigation Signal Engineer to join the ESTEC Customer Integrated Team in Leiden. You will work on the next generation of Galileo navigation signals, ensuring flawless SIS implementation across satellite, ground, and user segments.

Responsibilities include system design, analysis, tooling, and verification campaigns, collaborating with international customers and partners to advance GNSS technologies.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field such as Navigation, Electrical Engineering or Telecommunications.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in space projects, ideally Galileo or GNSS.
• Strong knowledge of GNSS signal analysis, digital signal processing, modulation and receiver algorithms.
• Proficiency in Matlab, Python, and/or C/C++.
• Excellent English communication skills; autonomous and collaborative in an international team.
• Must hold or be eligible to obtain a valid Personal Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support Galileo system design evolutions regarding navigation signals and receiver aspects.
• Define, implement, and maintain signal performance analysis tools; run simulations and trade-off analyses.
• Perform deep-dive analyses on receiver acquisition, tracking, PVT processing, and signal/data authentication.
