Job summary

European Space Agency in Noordwijk, NL, invites applications for an End-to-End Navigation System Engineer. You will join the Navigation Systems Implementation & Validation Section to advance system design, validation, and test campaigns across major space missions, bridging design and deployment.

The role requires a Master’s in telecommunications engineering and 4 years of relevant experience, with strong GNSS/PNT knowledge and hands-on testing in lab environments.

Qualifications

• Master's in telecommunication engineering with 4 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience with satellite navigation / PNT and end-to-end navigation system validation.
• Knowledge of ESA procurement processes and ability to operate in a multicultural, international team.

Responsibilities

• Define SI&V strategies and test campaigns across Phase C–E lifecycles for Galileo, Celeste LEO-PNT and OpStar.
• Provide expert system design and validation support for AIT/AIV processes and ensure requirements flow-down.
• Operate ESTEC test facilities (systems test beds, RF simulators, TURNs) for SIS testing and end-to-end verification.
• Support commissioning, LEOP/IOT activities, investigate anomalies, and drive non-conformances.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of SI&V practices, standards, and tools.
