Job summary

European Space Agency in the Netherlands seeks an IRIS² Future Services Integration and Exploitation Officer to develop exploitation models for Direct to Device and Satellite IoT within the EU Secure Connectivity Programme.

You will report to the Exploitation Manager in the IPT, coordinating with the European Commission and ESA to prepare contractual elements and support new structures for IRIS² usage.

Qualifications

• Experience with EU governmental services and EU decision-making processes.
• Knowledge of the EU Financial Regulation and procurement in the Commission.
• Understanding resilience, preparedness and civil-military cooperation in an EU context.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exploitation model(s) for new IRIS² services from a programmatic/strategic perspective.
• Coordinate with ESA supervision for industrial activities and contractual agreements.
• Interface with DG CONNECT and other Commission services on MSS-related matters.
• Support the establishment of new structures within the Commission and ESA for IRIS² use.
