Job summary

European Space Agency (ESA) is seeking a Spectrum and Signals Officer for the IRIS² Integrated Programme Team in Brussels. The role focuses on delivering timely user terminals to enable governmental services and managing spectrum access, signal definition and 5G roadmap alignment across ESA organisations and external contractors.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant domain with substantial experience.
• Six years of relevant professional experience or four years with a bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with ESA offices to ensure timely delivery of user terminals.
• Lead IPT activities for EU engineering, manufacturing and supply chain capabilities.
• Support Exploitation Manager; maintain schedule, risk, and cost controls.
• Maintain development plans, roadmaps, and key performance indicators.
• Oversee risk and security management processes at user segment level.
