Job summary

lindemol Engineering & Consultancy seeks a PLM Administrator to connect engineering teams with digital systems and enhance the PLM environment. You will improve and maintain PLM functionalities ensuring efficient processes and seamless data flow across the organization.

You will translate workflows into system requirements, coordinate upgrades in the 3DX platform, and support users with training and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with hands-on experience using the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
• Experience with Cadmatic (Outfitting) software is a strong plus.
• Solid PLM concepts and experience in functional system administration.
• Analytical, proactive mindset with good communication skills.
• Fluent English; Dutch is advantageous.
• Willingness to work from Vlissingen or Schiedam.
• EU passport/citizenship required for defense-related projects.

Job description

In this role, you’ll serve as a key link between the engineering teams and the digital systems that support their work. You’ll be responsible for improving and maintaining the functionalities of the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) environment, ensuring that technical processes run efficiently and data flows seamlessly across the organization.

Your work contributes directly to the optimization of engineering operations and the successful execution of advanced naval projects. By combining your technical insight with process‑oriented thinking, you’ll help drive continuous improvement within a high‑tech, collaborative setting.

Main Responsibilities

• Translate complex engineering and product development workflows into functional system requirements.
• Work closely with engineers, IT professionals, and other departments to refine and enhance the usability of PLM tools.
• Implement upgrades and coordinate configuration or functional updates within the 3DX environment.
• Administer user profiles, system permissions, and newly introduced functionalities.
• Maintain and expand data libraries, parametric models, and technical reference materials.
• Provide user support and organize training sessions to ensure effective system adoption.
• Develop and update manuals, user guides, and other relevant documentation.
• Optionally assist in maintaining Cadmatic (Outfitting) applications for ongoing or legacy projects.

Profile and Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree (preferably technical or IT-related) combined with hands‑on experience using the 3DEXPERIENCE platform by Dassault Systèmes.
• Experience with Cadmatic (Outfitting) software is considered a strong plus.
• Solid understanding of PLM concepts and experience in functional system administration.
• Analytical mindset, strong communication skills, and a proactive, solution‑driven approach.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken; Dutch is advantageous.
• Willingness to work from Vlissingen or Schiedam as required.
• Possession of an EU passport and citizenship, as required for participation in defense‑related projects.
