Job summary

ORTEC seeks a Functional Application Manager to help implement, improve, and support a growing suite of best-of-breed business applications. Our IT & Security department transitions from a single ERP to specialized tools including CRM, HR, ticketing, and financial systems.

You’ll work with HubSpot and Zendesk, translate business needs into functional solutions, support users, manage changes, and collaborate with vendors to keep our applications reliable, scalable, and aligned with ORTEC’s

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in functional application management or application implementation.
• Experience with CRM, HRM, ticketing, or ERP systems, including familiarity with application integrations. Experience with Zendesk, HubSpot, Exact Synergy/Globe or similar tools is a plus.
• The ability to analyze business needs and convert them into clear functional requirements or application configurations.
• Experience handling incidents, changes, and testing during upgrades/enhancements.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with different types of stakeholders.
• A structured, proactive way of working.
• The ability and willingness to work at least 2 days per week in our Zoetermeer office.

Job description

As a Functional Application Manager, you will help implement, improve, and support a growing suite of best‑of‑breed business applications at ORTEC. Our IT & Security department is transitioning from an all‑in‑one ERP solution to modern specialized tools, including new ticketing, CRM, HR, and financial systems.

HubSpot

has recently been implemented as ORTEC's new CRM and is now part of the Functional Application Management portfolio. Zendesk is currently transitioning into the Functional Application Management (FAM) team, further expanding the portfolio of applications supported by the team. As ORTEC continues its broader ERP replacement journey, additional business applications will be introduced in the coming years. You will play an active role in future application implementation projects, from design and testing through handover into operational support.

You’ll work closely with colleagues across the organization to translate business needs into functional solutions, support users, manage application changes, and collaborate with vendors. You’ll play a key role in keeping our internal applications reliable, scalable, and aligned with ORTEC’s business processes.

Who are you

You are someone who enjoys combining analysis, configuration, implementation, and functional support. You like to understand how systems work, help users, and improve processes step by step. You can translate questions into clear functional solutions and enjoy working in an informal, supportive IT & Security team.

You have
