Job summary

TradeTracker.com is seeking a Full stack Software Engineer to help build and enhance our performance marketing platform. We follow a cloud-native approach on AWS, using Laravel Livewire and blade templates with Tailwind, and Docker for containerization.

In this role you will design and implement scalable components, apply architectural best practices, and collaborate in an agile, multidisciplinary team in Almere (hybrid).

Qualifications

• Proficient in PHP with modern PHP practices.
• Strong front-end skills in HTML, JavaScript, CSS using Laravel Livewire, Blade, and Tailwind.
• Mastery of Laravel framework for developing platform components.
• Experience applying architectural best practices for scalable, reliable software.
• Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Experience in agile multidisciplinary scrum teams.
• Basic relational database skills and writing simple queries.
• Docker experience is required.

This is your role

As a Full stack Software Engineer at TradeTracker.com, you will play a pivotal role in the development and enhancement of our performance marketing platform. We are passionate about technology and in our development we follow a cloud-native approach, leveraging AWS services, whilst using tools from the Atlassian product suite, and GitLab for our development and deployment processes. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by designing and implementing solutions that drive the success of our platform.

Salary : EUR 5.000 - 6.000 / month
Location : Almere (hybrid)

Your profile

Required Skillset:

• PHP Expertise: You should be well-versed in PHP, with a deep understanding of modern PHP best practices.
• Advanced front-end skills : You know all about front-end (html, javascript and css) using Laravel LiveWire and blade templates as well as the Tailwind css framework.
• Laravel Framework: Mastery of the Laravel framework is a must. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining critical components of our platform using Laravel.
• Apply Architectural Best Practices: We value architectural excellence. You should be skilled in applying best practices to ensure the scalability, reliability, and maintainability of our software.
• Domain-Driven Design: Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles is highly beneficial, as our platform deals with complex domain models
• Agile team mindset: Experience working in multidisciplinary scrum teams, actually using the scrum methodology.
• Basic Relational Database skills: Experience with adding and adjusting tables as well as writing simple queries.
• Docker: We use Docker extensively for containerization. Experience with Docker is required.

• Experience with Livewire: If you have experience with Laravel Livewire, you'll be able to contribute to our real-time UI components effectively.
• Aiming for Full Test-Coverage: We take software quality seriously. A commitment to achieving full test coverage (also at the front-end) is highly appreciated.
• Elasticsearch: Experience with Elasticsearch is a plus, as it plays a vital role in our data retrieval and search functionalities and features.
• Basic DevOps Experience: While not a primary requirement, basic DevOps experience will be valuable as it allows you to participate in the end-to-end development and deployment process.
