Job summary

HEMA in Amsterdam is seeking a Fullstack/Frontend Engineer to help build the new website using Next.js, React and TypeScript, aligned with MACH architecture and a headless CMS. You will collaborate with product owners, IT analysts and domain teams to deliver a scalable storefront.

You'll work on challenging projects, improve infrastructure, and contribute to the strategic tech roadmap, including Sanity integration and API-first services using Kafka, Kong and AWS serverless components.

Qualifications

• Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams to deliver software.
• Pro-activity, collaborative decision-making and accountability.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript, React, Next.js, and willingness to learn new technologies.
• Experience with AWS services and IaC (AWS CDK or similar).
• Customer-focused with quality delivery.
• Innovative mindset and curiosity about new solutions.
• Security best practices (OWASP Top10) understanding.
• Familiarity with headless CMS platforms (Sanity is a plus).
