Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a freelance Full Stack Engineer (Java + React) for an international client project based in Amsterdam. This is a 6-month contract with a possible extension and a hybrid work setup. Start date ASAP.

Share responsibility for backend services with Java and Spring Boot, develop frontend with React.js, design APIs and microservices, and help deploy and monitor solutions. Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Architecture teams in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with microservices and distributed systems.
• Experience building customer-facing applications.
• Familiar with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of scalable architectures.
• Experience working in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop modern frontend applications using React.js.
• Design and build APIs and microservices.
• Contribute to customer-facing features and platform improvements.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Architecture teams.
• Write clean, tested code and participate in design discussions.
• Support deployments, monitoring, and production operations.
