Job summary

Insify is seeking a Frontend Engineer to join the Growth team in Amsterdam. You will own the website experience, collaborate with Marketing and Design, and ship features that drive acquisition and growth.

You’ll work across content, tooling, and experiments to improve performance and UX. You’re expected to bring 3+ years of React/TypeScript experience, ownership mindset, and a curiosity-driven approach to learning.

Responsibilities

We sell a mix of insurance products to small businesses (SME's) in the Netherlands, Germany and France, and we are in the process of scaling into more markets.

Insurance is complicated in ways nobody buying it should have to care about. Every country has its own products, its own rules about what you're allowed to promise, its own idea of what a business owner needs to know before signing. All that complexity has to end somewhere - and it ends on a page, in a sentence a plumber reads on their phone at nine at night. Most companies pass it straight through. We take it on: open a market or launch a product quickly, and still make it feel like it was written for the person reading it.

About the role

We're looking for a Frontend Engineer to join the Growth team.

The website is where most people meet Insify. You'll own it - not just the code, but what it's for and how well it's working. You'll sit close to marketing and design, you'll see the effect of what you ship inside a week, and you'll be trusted to decide what's worth building.

What you'll be doing

• Build, edit and maintain landing pages and blog articles that drive acquisition and conversion
• Grow the design system into reusable blocks the growth team can compose themselves, so routine website work stops needing an engineer
• Make new countries and products cheaper to launch - configuration and content models over one-off builds
• Build AI-powered internal tools for content generation, review and analysis
• Ship growth experiments end-to-end, from hypothesis to live test
• Optimize for how people actually find us - Core Web Vitals, SEO, and increasingly ChatGPT and other AI search
• Do the craft work: pixel-perfect implementation, animation, and accessibility that holds up with a screen reader
• Own CI/CD and infrastructure (Netlify) for the website, plus monitoring for speed and errors
• Collaborate across Engineering, Product, Design, Marketing crafts to deliver best-in-class customer experience

What you'll need

• 3+ years of experience building apps with React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS. You ship fast, clean, maintainable code
• Ownership & impact instinct - when needed you go beyond your direct stack to get to results, be that data / backend / frontend
• Enablement mindset. You build tools that make other people faster, not just pages.
• You get real leverage out of AI in your daily work, and you can say where it helped, and where it hurt
• Curiosity and growth mindset. You experiment, seek feedback and learn fast

Not all of the above are hard requirements. If you're strong on most of these and eager to grow into the rest, we'd still love to hear from you.

Nice to have

• Experience with Contentful, Sanity, Storyblok or similar headless CMS.
• Experience with Gatsby, Next.js, Astro or any other static site generator.
• Experience with A/B testing and SEO. You know how to set up experiments and measure what matters.

We offer

• Competitive compensation that reflects responsibility and impact. For this role the range is €65,000 to €85,000.
