Digital Claim Solutions (DCSolutions) is looking for a frontend engineer who translates requirements into fast, logical UIs and works closely with backend and DevOps. You will emphasize performance, clarity, and reusability, crafting components and systems rather than single pages.
The role supports on-site and remote work with a hybrid approach in Bussum or Enschede. Experience with HTMX, React or Vue is a plus, along with basic PHP knowledge and automated testing.
On-site and remote, Bussummergrindweg 1i, 1406NZ Bussum
You translate functional requirements into concrete UIs and interactions that are logical, fast and consistent. You work closely with backend developers and DevOps engineers and understand what your choices mean for performance, maintainability and integration with the rest of the system.
You work on a product where UX has a direct impact on usage and efficiency. Small choices in interaction or structure make the difference here. That is why we expect you to look beyond “it looks good” and focus on behaviour, speed and clarity.
You contribute to technical designs and take a critical approach to existing frontend code. You simplify, structure and make sure it stays understandable and extensible.
We work hybrid from Bussum or Enschede, but the team operates largely asynchronously. That means you work independently, take responsibility and do not depend on constant alignment.
Experience with frameworks such as HTMX, React or Vue is a plus. You understand when to use them and when not to.
You have an eye for detail and immediately spot where UI/UX can be improved. You translate that into concrete improvements in code.
You do not accept a frontend that merely “works”. You optimise for performance, clarity and consistency.
You pick up existing code without context and make it better. Not cosmetically, but structurally.
You think in components and systems, not in individual pages. You take reusability and scalability into account.
You communicate directly and collaborate substantively with backend and DevOps to arrive at better solutions.
Basic knowledge of PHP and automated testing is a plus.
At Digital Claim Solutions (DCSolutions), you work on a product where your work is directly visible to users. You have influence over how the product functions and feels.
We offer a salary between €3,500 and €5,750 gross per month based on 40 hours, depending on experience and level. In addition, we offer 27 days of holiday and a three-pillar pension scheme through Brand New Day.
Every week you get a ‘level-up’ day to work on your own development or explore new techniques.
You work from Bussum or Enschede, with the option of working largely remotely. Our way of working is substantive, direct and focused on quality, not on process for process's sake.
